Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo due arrive in UK April 19, SIM-free £360

Clove has announced they expect to stock the  Xperia Neo by Tuesday April 19. It’ll come SIM-free, but it will cost you £360; at least that includes VAT.

Both Orange and Vodafone will offer the Xperia Neo on contract deals, with Vodafone getting their own red edition of the Xperia beauty.

Like it’s skinnier stablemate, the Xperia Arc, the Neo’s screen has Sony’s reality display technology and their Mobile Bravia Engine.

It’s 3.7-inch may not stand up to the Arc’s 4.2-inch, but the Neo matches the Arc’s photography chops; an 8.1-megapixel camera, alongside Sony’s own Exmor light sensor, and lense technology to make the most of low-light photography.

Like the rest of the new Xperia range, it should come with the very latest serving of Android, Gingerbread (2.3), and plenty of improvements to Sony’s own Android additions and widgets, like the faster picture gallery seen in the Arc and Play.
