Ferrari 458 MM Speciale is a unique nod to the 1984 Ferrari GTO

Ferrari has unveiled the 458 MM Speciale, a one-of-a-kind that has been designed in the style of the classic 1984 Ferrari GTO.

The Ferrari 458 MM Speciale coupe was created for a client who ‘was looking for extremely sporty lines’ and features a black-painted A-pillar, lower roofline, unique rear clusters and wheels specific to the car.

Not only that, the unique Ferrari has seen extensive aerodynamic revisions including side intakes that allow additional direct cooling to feed into the engine bay and a rear spoiler that is said to balance the downforce evenly and complete the sleek look.

The car is finished in a Bianco Italia paintjob and has a stripe down the middle that pays homage to its home of Italy. Meanwhile the front and rear bumper are handcrafted from aluminium and composite carbon fibre to further enhance the look.

Inside, Ferrari has used Cioccolato leather upholstery with white stitching for a custom look, complete with satin white rings around the tunnel controls.

As for power output, the 458 MM Speciale is based on the 458 Speciale so the same mid-mounted V8 with 605PS and 540Nm of torque seems likely, giving it a 0-62mph sprint of around three seconds and a top speed in the 200s.

There’s no word on a price as this is a one-of-a-king project, but this kind of customisation is unlikely to come cheap given the base car costs more than some houses. Best to get on the phone to Ferrari if interested.
