Great news for driving game fans that want to lash off low lap times in luxury. The fabulously-named Rolls-Royce Wraith has been made available as a free download in Forza Motorsport 5 for Xbox One.
OK, so it’s not real, it’s a mere visual representation of the Wraith, but it’s a positive addition to an already fabulous line-up of cars present in Forza 5.
Players will be able to get to virtual grips with the Wraith’s 6.6-litre, twin-turbocharged V12 engine which – in the real world – delivers 624bhp with 800Nm of torque. That’s enough for 0-62mph in 4.4 seconds.
All that power is delivered to the rear wheels by the bonkers-sounding eight-speed Satellite Aided Transmission, which uses the car’s GPS systems to help ensure you’re riding in the correct gear, and anticipates the car’s next move based on its location and the type of road it happens to be driving on.
Not that you’d know it in the game, but in the real world, the Wraith main charm is its fabulous interior design. The highlight is unquestionably the bespoke Starlight Headliner, which consists of over 1,340 fibre optic lamps that mimic the night sky.
So, you’ll probably never get to drive one in the real world, but if you’re a Forza 5 player we recommend you snap up a virtual version pronto.
The Wraith will be available as a free download to all owners of Forza Motorsport 5.
