Smart has made a few adjustments to its ForTwo and ForFour models, including a few trim tweaks and the introduction of a Brabus Sport.
The Smart ForTwo Coupe Passion now comes with a fabric-covered roof for what Smart calls an ‘even more striking look’ and the ForFour Night Sky Prime and Prime Sport both feature an electric fabric opening roof.
Passion spec Smart cars now benefit from a smart audio system, automatic climate control, leather three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and 15-inch eight-spoke alloy wheels in silver.
Prime spec, meanwhile, comes with heated front seats, black leather upholstery with grey topstitching, dashboard instruments with clock and rev counter, sunglasses holder and 15-inch five-spoke alloys in black with a high-sheen finish.
Those who want the more powerful 90hp engine (mated to a five-speed manual as standard or a six-speed DCT for an extra £995) have the option of the Brabus Sport Line. This adds 17-inch Brabus alloys in matt grey, Brabus front splitter and rear apron, Brabus stitching and logos on the hand brake and gear shift levers, sport steering wheel and sports pedals with rubber studs.
Then there’s Premium, which costs £845 extra and comes with a height-adjustable driver’s seat and steering wheel, rear parking sensors, heated door mirrors and MirrorLink for smartphone connectivity. It is available on all trim levels.
Premium Plus ─ available to all but the entry-level Passion ─ adds even more mod-cons, including ambient lighting, LED headlights and tail lights, fog lamps with cornering function and a rear view camera. Yours for £1,345 extra.
The cheapest way into Smart entry is now the ForTwo Coupe, which costs from £11,125. The cheapest ForFour, which shares the same platform as the Renault Twingo, starts from £11,620. A top-spec Brabus Sport Night Sky Premium Plus costs £16,275.
