Watch a Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV narrowly avoid hitting a cameraman

If there are two rules in life you should follow, they are never eat yellow snow and avoid running in front of a high-powered Lamborghini about to take part in a drag race.

Yet it seems one cameraman never got the memo because he decided to run across the path of a 750hp Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV as it was about to race against a Corvette Z06.

The clue, of course, was the extremely loud engine noise of the V12, which is made even louder by the owner’s Akrapovic Exhaust System. But that does little to deter the brave (or is that mad?) cameraman from running across – right as launch control does its thing.

Lucky for all involved, the driver is able to turn the car to the right without losing control and goes around the man, before straightening up and winning the race in style. It is unclear if he ended up needing to change his underpants.

To be fair to the man and his sizable camera, he was probably trying to line up a better angle than the one that captured the drag race. Or maybe he was playing Pokemon Go? Either way, we doubt he will be doing that again anytime soon.

For those unfamiliar with Lamborghini’s monster, it nearly had the Porsche 918 hybrid hypercar beat around the Nurburgring and is a more powerful version of the LP 700-4, which features the same 6.5-litre V12, bonkers styling and a large fixed rear spoiler.

0-125mph is said to take just 8.6 seconds for the LP 750-4 variant, while the top speed borders on ludicrous. Not bad for a car said to cost around £285,000. Watch the video below and be reminded of the powers of natural selection.
