Watch: Extra Gear has a brand new trailer

The BBC has released a trailer for the Top Gear spin-off, Extra Gear, which is presented by Rory Reid and Chris Harris.

The Extra Gear trailer shows Recombu editor-in-chief Rory Reid talking about the nature of the new show, which includes behind the scenes footage of how it is made and interviews with celebrities.

Extra Gear will also give viewers the chance to see a good-old chinwag with fellow presenters Sabine Schmitz, Chris Evans, Eddie Jordan and Chris Harris.

Speaking of Harris aka ‘Monkey’, the talented driver from the YouTube channel Chris Harris on Cars will be getting his hands on “the good, the bad and the downright infuriating and I’ll be telling it just the way it is” as part of the show.

It took multiple Top Gear trailers to see anyone but BBC Two radio presenter Chris Evans and Episodes star Matt LeBlanc doing their thing, but at least viewers can now see what to expect from its lesser known stars.

Extra Gear will be available to watch on BBC Three right after Top Gear is finished, which means 9pm on Sunday the 29th, 2016. Top Gear itself airs at 8pm on BBC Two.

We were invited to watch the first episode of Top Gear being filmed. You can check out our thoughts here and find out some exclusive info.
