While talks are still ongoing concerning BT Sport coming to TalkTalk TV, it’s been revealed that the channels won’t be on TalkTalk from launch.
BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 and ESPN will be landing on Sky TV, BT Vision and YouView boxes with a BT Broadband from August 1 onwards.
There’s still a possibility we’ll see BT Sport coming to other services includuing TalkTalk TV, Virgin Media and Free Time from Freesat. However this latest news dashes any hopes of BT Sport coming to TalkTalk TV in time for the new season.

As Sky do, they will look for points of distribution. The channels won’t be there for launch but we are talking to them. It would be a way to drive incremental revenue in the same way we do with Sky.”
TalkTalk TV currently offers access to all the Sky Sports channels as a monthly boost. There’s no long term contract and you can cancel as and when you like.

Acquiring BT Sport would make TalkTalk TV the only digital TV service able to get the full compliment of premium UK sports channels, with the exception of Sky.
BT customers will only be able to get Sky Sports 1 and 2 alongside BT Sport through BT Vision+. Virgin Media customers can currently get the same line up of Sky channels but there’s no word on BT Sport coming to the cable service just yet.
TalkTalk and BT sources have declined to comment any further on the news so far, but we’ll update once we know more.
