How can I watch Fear The Walking Dead with BT TV?

To get AMC from BT, you’ll need to sign up for a BT TV pack.

The cheapest BT TV service is BT TV Starter, a entry-level service that’s gives you a basic driverless set-top box (i.e. no recording function) for no extra monthly cost.

BT TV Essential costs £5/month on top of your broadband package and comes with a box that lets you record up to 300 hours of TV.

BT TV Entertainment Plus costs £10/month and gives you access to pay TV channels like SyFy, Gold, MTV and Universal while the top-level Total Entertainment bundle gives you access to 12 HD channels including Eurosport 1 HD, Comedy Central HD and BT TV’s crown jewel, BT Sport Ultra HD.

BT Broadband currently starts at £13/month (plus £17.99/month line rental) for an unlimited up to 17Mbps ADSL service.

In order to get Entertainment Plus or Total Entertainment, you’ll need to sign up for a BT Infinity FTTC package. These start at £20/month plus line rental for an unlimited service that provides top download speeds of 38Mbps.

AMC from BT is available on BT TV in both standard definition (channel 332) and HD (channel 381).

To get TV channels in HD from BT, you’ll need to take the HD Extra bolt-on (£4/month) and in order to do this, you’ll need to have a BT Infinity FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) broadband service – basic ADSL broadband will not do, as BT needs the extra bandwidth in order to deliver high definition channels.

BT offers a Line Rental Saver option, which lets customers pay for a year’s worth of line rental up front.
This currently costs £194.28 and is equivalent to paying £16.19/month. In total, opting for Line Rental Saver will save you a total of £21.60 over 12 months, which might not seem like much, but doing this also has the effect of insulating you from any line rental rises for the year.
