Now TV is available to download on the new Apple TV box – but you still can’t sign up for a weekly or monthly Sports Passes.
While enthusiastic buyers of the new Apple TV will be able to watch live streams of Sky’s Premier League games and other sports, they’re forced into paying for a £6.99 24 hour pass instead of being able to sign up for the £9.99/week and £31.99/month deals.
While this means that loyal football fans who only want to watch their teams or a single day of racing, rugby or golf won’t have to pay for streams they’re not going to watch, it means sports fans who want it all will need to look elsewhere – luckily the Now TV Box is only £15, but it means you’ve got to sacrifice one of your four Now TV logins if you want both devices.

The Entertainment and Movies Passes cost £6.99/month and £9.99/month respectively, and give you access to content from Sky 1, Sky Atlantic, Sky Living and movies from all of the Sky Movies channels.
Shows arriving on Now TV this month include crime caper The Last Panthers on Sky Atlantic, series 6 of The Walking Dead on Fox and Elementary on Sky Living. Catch-up content available this month includes seasons 1-4 of Game of Thrones, Grey’s Anatomy and Hannibal.
Films lined up for November on Sky Movies includes Disney’s Into the Woods, American Sniper, Whiplash, The Theory of Everything, Birdman and Fifty Shades of Grey.
A long-standing content deal with Disney means that Sky Movies and Now TV customers will be the first folks to see Star Wars Episode VIII: The Force Awakens once the theatrical run has ended.

The new Apple TV box is available to buy now. The 32GB edition costs £129 while the 64GB edition costs £169.
