TalkTalk is celebrating National Karaoke Week in style by providing free access to the Karaoke Channel on TalkTalk TV this Friday.
Normally costing £3 for 24 hours access to the Karaoke Channel’s 18,000-strong library of tunes, TalkTalk TV is giving it away now.
Yes, apparently it’s National Karaoke Week. On the same week we celebrate the anniversary of BIll Shakespeare’s birthday and English people getting to moan about St. George’s Day not being a national day off.
TalkTalk reckons it’s going to be a hit with tone-deaf Brits though. According to a 500-strong survey of Londoners, 58 per cent have sang along to Karaoke at least once in the last year. They clearly didn’t do their survey anywhere near the London X Factor auditions which took place earlier this month.
As well as being available on TalkTalk TV, you can also get the Karaoke Channel on Virgin Media, Google TV (US only for now) and through an iOS app.
No doubt subscribers will be lining up to blast out hits like It’s My Life, Such A Shame and the rest…
