The Cloud has announced a deal with Lord’s Cricket Ground that sees Test Match attendees able to make use of free WiFi for the next five years.
Just in time for this weekend’s England versus New Zealand fixture, the service will supply WiFi to all 28,500 seats at the Ground, providing quick access to social networks and the recently redesigned Lords.org site.
The site launched last week has been redesigned specifically for tablet and phone screens and features a new lords.org/live section, keeping fans up to date on scores and access a live blog feed, for those days when you can’t get to the stands.

This deal renews the deal announced last year and sees the partnership between the Cloud and Lords hitting a six – last year and the next five.
The Cloud has set up several public WiFi networks across London, including the Square Mile, and London Overground stations. The Cloud also operates in several retail outlets across the UK, including WHSmiths, Punch Taverns pubs and ATS Garages.
In other sporting news, O2 has recently announced that it’ll be supplying Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium with a WiFi network covering all 47,000 seats. All this free WiFi is good stuff, but don’t forget to watch the game eh what?
