The Motorola Atrix 2 may be arriving sooner than we’d thought. According to a release on AT&T’s press page, the Atrix 2 will be arriving alongside the Samsung Captivate Glide, the Samsung DoubleTime and two other US-only smartphones sometime before the end of this year.
The Atrix 2 is what we’re really interested in, as it looks like the only phone that will for sure arrive on the shores of Blighty. It rocks a 4.3-inch display, a dual-core 1GHz processor, 1GB RAM and an 8MP camera with 1080p video reecording.
The USP of the original Atrix was its ability to dock with a special laptop-like stand. This makes a return on the Motorola Atrix 2 with the Motorola 100 laptop dock, which we’re assuming will launch alongside the Atrix 2.
No word on when the Atrix 2 will be making an appearance in the UK, although its US release date is scheduled before the end of the year.
