BlackBerry’s latest Porsche Design handset is still ludicrously expensive

BlackBerry has been hemorrhaging money lately, but why? Could it be falling behind in the mobile race? Maybe its related to the production of super expensive versions of exisiting handsets? Anyway, BlackBerry has a new version of its super expensive Porsche Design phone for people who only let their dogs drink Evian. It’s exactly the same as the BlackBerry Z10 – featuring a 4.2-inch 1280×768 display, dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and an 8-megapixel camera – save for the increased 64GB storage capacity.

Unlike the old Porsche series, though, the P’9982 runs BlackBerry OS 10.2. Sure, you lose the P’9981’s physical QWERTY keyboard, but you’ll be able to sleep easy knowing that you paid four times what you should have for an engraved “Porsche Design” logo. It’s really the perfect Christmas stocking gift, especially for the £1,450 asking price. You’ll be able to buy it in Harrods starting from November 21st.
