Yesterday we heard via Clove that the BlackBerry Torch 9860 would be coming our way on the 26th 19th of this month, with the Torch 9810 and Curve 9360 following shortly on the 3rd of October.
Now we’ve seen all of these BlackBerries rearing their heads on O2’s Coming Soon page. Curiously, all the dates listed for these are ‘September’.
Of course it’d be great if we could get our hands on a 9810 and the Curve 9360 a littler earlier, but having heard the 3rd of October from Clove for the latter two, we’re not totally sure. We’ve been in contact with O2 for some clarification on the release dates. All we’ve been told so far is that there will be more announcements to come “later on in the month”, but nothing in the way of a concrete release date so far.
Of the three, we’re really looking forwards to checking out the BlackBerry Torch 9860. The first BlackBerry phone to prominently feature a touchscreen since the short-lived Storm range has well and truly piqued our interest.
What with the newly revamped and relaunched BlackBerry App World 3.0 we’re interested in seeing if the Torch 9860 can tempt the iPhone and Android horde.
