The Facebook iPhone app has been updated again, and now into version 3.4, brings a few more improvements to several features across Facebook.
One useful change in the inclusion of a preview map for Facebook Places, as soon as you tap on any listing.
There’s also the added ability to check-in at any events you’ve promised to attend. This could prove very useful for large-scale events with a lot of guests.
But perhaps the greatest change for the misanthropes at Recombu, and perhaps some of our readers, is the ability to finally unfriend on the go.
It’s pretty useful when those pesky recent additions to your friend list simply aren’t letting up on the private messages, status updates or those awful, awful flash games. Open your phone, open the app, and they’re soon gone. Good stuff.
Facebook also promises a tweaked newsfeed and some minor improvements to the notifications system.
