Forget the iPad, in Indonesia it’s all about the Nokia C3

Literally tens of people queued for unspecified numbers of minutes to get their hands on the Nokia C3 in Indonesia last weekend. Even various kinds of weather couldn’t stop the hordes in ten cities across the country – they were determined to have their budget Qwerty handsets or die trying!

Ok, ok – it was “thousands” really, at least according to Nokia Coversations. That averages out to 100 people per city. Not quite iPad standards, and there’s a distinct and disappointing lack of paps, but still – it’s a whole load more than we can imagine queuing outside Carphone Warehouse for the Nokia C3 in the UK. Come on now, let’s show Nokia some love: Yeah! Nokia! Woo!
