GiffGaff launches cheap 4G from £12 a month

GiffGaff, an affordable UK network owned by O2, has now waded into 4G waters with its cheapy contracts starting at £12 a month, which can be cancelled at any time.

Up to now, good deals on 4G contracts here in the UK have been hard to come by. Three is one of the few networks to offer LTE web browsing and streaming for around the £10 a month mark, but today value network GiffGaff has launched its own flexible and affordable tariffs, which can be cancelled whenever you like.

If you’re tempted to jump on GiffGaff’s 4G service, first check to see if your area is covered using the handy online coverage checker. If you’re golden, then you can choose a new 4G handset from GiffGaff’s line-up. There’s a strong selection on offer, including our Best Phone award-winner the LG G3, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, HTC’s One M8, Sony’s Xperia Z3 Compact and Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4.

Then all you need to do is browse GiffGaff’s range of ‘goodybag’ contracts, which start at a nifty £12 a month. Here’s the three deals currently on offer, stretching from £12 for 1GB of data a month, up to £18 for the full 5GB allowance. Those are some seriously good prices, competing closely with the likes of Three for value for money.

Best of all, if you decide to jump to another network or tariff, you can simply cancel your current goodybag and you’ll be free to move – no 12 or 24-month contract to honour.
