The Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL are the first two mobiles to come packing Android Nougat, as well as some seriously premium specs. Manufactured with help from HTC, these 5-inch and 5.5-inch phones really could be the best blowers of 2016. But they don’t come cheap, of course.

Google Pixel phone UK price and release date
Here in the UK, you will have to pay a premium price for the Pixel phone. The starter 32GB model costs £599 SIM-free, while the 128GB Pixel phone costs £699.
The Google Pixel is available to pre-order from today, direct from Google and also from EE and Carphone Warehouse. The phone will be released in the UK on October 20.
Google Pixel XL phone UK price and release date
Likewise, the bigger Pixel XL isn’t cheap. In the UK, the 32GB model of Pixel XL costs £719 SIM-free, while the 128GB phone costs £819 SIM-free.
The Google Pixel XL is available to pre-order from today, direct from Google and also from EE and Carphone Warehouse. The XL will be released in the UK on October 20.
Google Pixel phone best UK contract deals: EE
If you want to buy the Pixel on contract, the only network independently supporting it is EE – at least, at launch.
You can bag the Google Pixel phone for free as long as you stump up £50.99 for an EE contract. This is a 24-month 4GEE plan which bags you 10GB of monthly data and unlimited everything else. You’ll also get 500MB of data to use on your holidays, as long as you head somewhere in the EU.
You can also pay £55.99 a month for the Pixel phone, which bags you a 4GEE Max plan. This gives you access to the fastest 4G speeds (up to 90Mbps) and a subscription to BT Sport Mobile.
If you pre-order the Pixel phone before October 20, you get a £50 Google Play voucher to spend on apps, movies, music or whatever you like.
Google Pixel phone best UK contract deals: Carphone Warehouse
Pay monthly customers can grab Google’s Pixel phone for an upfront cost of £79.99, with a £42 monthly contract that gives you 6GB of data allowance on Vodafone.
Like with EE, you get a £50 Google Play voucher for pre-ordering.
Google Pixel XL phone best UK contract deals: EE
Once again, the Google Pixel XL phone is only available on contract directly through EE.
Direct from EE, you can get the Pixel XL for free by joining the £55.99 a month 4GEE plan. This is a 24-month contract which gives you 10GB of data and unlimited everything else, plus 500MB of free data when travelling in the EU.
For £60.99 a month you’ll get onto the 4GEE Max plan. This 24-month contract gets you faster 4G and BT Sport Mobile access.
If you pre-order the Pixel XL phone before October 20, you get a £50 Google Play voucher to spend on apps, movies, music and so on.
Google Pixel XL phone best UK contract deals: Carphone Warehouse
The cheapest Pixel XL contract deal through Carphone Warehouse sees you paying an upfront cost of £159.99, for the same £42 a month contract as the Pixel phone. That gives you 6GB of monthly data on Vodafone.
