HTC Desire C launching in June

HTC has finally confirmed the much rumoured HTC Desire C. Availble in white and black, the HTC Desire C launch date is June and device comes preloaded with Beats Audio and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Although this is a lower-end device, HTC hasn’t compromised on quality. The Desire C includes a durable metal frame, micro-drilled earpiece, hyper-view angle display and metal camera bezel.It also sports a bright 3.5inch HVGA display and 5MP camera.

Music is certainly a key focus of this lower-end, but still powerful, device from HTC, as Jason MacKenzie, President, Global Sales and Marketing at HTC puts it; “Listening to music is one of the most popular things people use their phones for … [and] The HTC Desire C offers customers excellent design, easy access to content and fast connectivity – making it the perfect all round device.”

HTC will also be introducing an NFC variant of the HTC Desire C, ensuring the device keeps up with the fast paced times of mobile technology – including mobile payments and access to information and offers.

The device comes with 4GB, it does come with Dropbox integration, giving its owners a sizeable 25GB extra of online memory in the cloud.

The HTC Desire C will be available in June from Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile, Virgin Media, Three, O2, Phones4U, The Carphone Warehouse and Tesco Mobile.

T-Mobile has been first off the mark offering the device free on £15.50 per month (24 month) contract, or for £169.99 on Pay As You Go – available in June. We will of course keep you updated with the pricing plans available as they come in.
