HTC fans will soon be able to get their hands on the company’s 3D offering. The HTC Evo 3D has appeared on a couple of websites for pre-order.

Play.com is selling the handset for £499.99 sim free, a price matched by Amazon. Amazon  while Mobile Phones Direct is selling on a range of contracts. From £33.50 at Vodafone to £35.74 at T-Mobile both on 24 month contract, it’s also available for £509 PAYG on T-Mobile.

According to Play, the handset will be arriving on September 5th, while Mobile Phones Direct states it will be available September 12th, as does Amazon.

The HTC Evo 3D is HTC’s first 3D phone and a rival to the LG Optimus 3D. We had a look at a demo model (check out our hands-on pictures here) and were really impressed with this HTC Sensation style blower.

Powered by a 1.2Ghz Qualcomm MSM8360 processor and 1GB Ram, this Android phone with HTC Sense has a large 4.3-inch 960×540 qHD touchscreen where you can view 3D movies without glasses. Elsewhere there’s DLNA for streaming and HTC Watch for movie downloads.  Dual f/2.2 lenses capture 2-megapixel 3D movies, along with 5-megapixel 2D pictures, HTC has also improved the shutter speed and added stereo sound.
