Ice White Wileyfox Swift unboxing and first look

The fresh new white model of the Wileyfox Swift, a great-value British smartphone packing a 5-inch HD screen and 13-megapixel camera, has just landed in the UK. Check out our unboxing video and first impressions of the new-look Swift.

We were big fans of the Wileyfox Swift when it finally launched in late 2015, offering stiff British-born competition to the likes of Motorola’s Moto G. You get many of the same specs, including a 5-inch HD screen and Snapdragon processor, but the Swift’s killer feature was the feature-packed Cyanogen OS, which offers deep personalisation and excellent privacy/security tools.

Now you can pick up the Wileyfox Swift in an attractive new Ice White design, and we grabbed one for a full unboxing and first-look video.

The white model packs the same specs and features as the original Swift, so you once again have a bright 720p display, Snapdragon 410 processor, 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras and 16GB of expandable storage.

There’s no change to the phone’s dimensions either. For a five-inch phone it’s comfortable to grip and can be used one-handed, while the 130g weight is pleasingly light. Button placement and the rest remains the same too.
