LG G Pad II 10.1 is a more appealing update on the company’s latest tablet

With IFA 2015 just around the corner, it’s little surprise that some of the big brands are already teasing out from their upcoming portfolio and LG’s just given us a new tablet.

The LG G Pad II 10.1 is a timely update over last year’s G Pad 10.1, primarily thanks to its expansive display, which pushes a more respectable amount of pixels for 2015 than the lowly WXGA (1280×800) resolution of the original 10-inch G Pad and a new snappier processor in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800.

Right now it looks like you’ll be given one plastic-bodied colourway to choose from in what the company calls ‘Brilliant bronze’, although from the official press imagery it looks like more of a plum wine hue.

LG’s IFA product lineup is expected to focus more on its OLED display product family as its latest flagship smartphone, the LG G4 is still being peeled fresh from the wrapping by excited new owners. The other big mobile offering, the much rumoured 2015 Nexus 5 will likely make an appearance under Google’s own steam some point in the coming weeks.
