Three bags LG’s Spirit 4G exclusively: Price and release date TBC

LG’s mid-range effort the Spirit 4G has been snapped up exclusively by Three in the UK.

The Spirit 4G rocks a 720p HD (1280×720) 4.7-inch screen and a 8-megapixel camera with an LED flash, a VGA front-facer a 1.2GHz Qualcomm 410 processor plus 1GB of RAM.

While those specs might not be bleeding edge by 2015 standards, it does come with the latest version of Android – 5.0 Lollipop – built in and as it’s name implies, it’s a 4G phone.

For those who are after a semi-decent blower that won’t break the bank, the Spirit 4G might be the Android phone you’re looking for. We don’t have a solid word on prices yet but we can’t expect that it’ll break most people’s wallets.

Three’s own products and accessories manager for the UK Brendan Arndt says that the Sprint 4G will be ‘affordable’, but has declined to talk prices. As it’s being sold by Three, there will at least be no extra cost for 4G

While you’re waiting for a price and release date, check out our hands on pictures of the LG Sprint 4G here alongside the Magna, Leon and Joy phones at Mobile World Congress 2015. While you’re at it, head over to our Mobile World Congress hub where we’ll be throwing more Barcelona-related goodness at you throughout the week.
