Developer Mojang has revealed some new footage on YouTube, showing the mobile version running on Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play.
The game is set to be an exclusive on the PlayStation Phone, arriving ahead of other Android handsets.
The video shows off a pre-release version of Minecraft Pocket, and it’s all been sped up to cram more footage into under a minute.
Developer Daniel Kaplan manages to build a small house with a yellow and red colour theme, using the Xperia Play’s analogue pads to adjust your view-point. It’ll be interesting to see how this is ported over to phones with only touch-screen controls.
Mojang, who have also promised an iPhone version to come later this year, look set to launch the Xperia Play version at gaming conference E3 next month.
