Motorola’s Moto 360 now available in sexy champagne and silver

Style hounds delight, you can now grab Motorola’s impressive Moto 360 in two new options, champagne and silver.

The Moto 360 is one of the best looking smartwatches on the market and Motorola has just announced plans to add another layer of prestige by offering the device in two new colours, silver and champagne (gold), just in time for Christmas.

The light silver 18mm band is available for $299, which is about £190, the same price as the older 23mm offering.

However, if you’re looking to get your mitts on the champagne version you’ll have to splash out a little more cash, as it’s marked up at $329.99. That’s about £210 of our British pounds.

Both new bands are reportedly made of aircraft-grade stainless steel, with a tri-link design, making them ideal for people with allergies or issues with irritation. They’re also a nice bonus for people with small wrists, as well as those just looking to add a little lustre to their smartwatch.

The watch itself is a great piece of hardware. Light at just 124g, and bristling with useful tech, including a 1.56-inch LCD display with 205ppi, Bluetooth 4.0, a heart-rate monitor, microphone and, of course, Android Wear, which allows you to access your information with a few simple taps or commands.

The Moto 360, which has garnered some pretty impressive reviews, is good, but there are already rumours afoot of a successor, the Moto 360 2, to be announced at CES in January, and if these new colour and style options are anything to go by, it could be the most complete smartwatch around.
