Motorola RAZR specs leak online

So, we’ve got more info on that cryptic Motorola advert we covered last week, and according to the fine folks at BGR they’ve had some specs revealed to them on the sly that back up those claims of Motorola’s next big smartphone being faster, thinner, lighter and stronger (than an iPhone 4, is the implication).

According to their anonymous sources, the mystery mobile in question will come with 1GB of RAM, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch display and 4G capabilities in the US. 1GB of RAM is, on paper, twice as much as the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S, but we’ll have to see Moto’s new mobile in the flesh before we can pass judgement on any claims to be better than Apple’s latest offering.

BGR also fuelled our speculation that this next phone will indeed be called the RAZR, a follow-up to the coveted Motorola RAZR flip phones of yesteryear. Three possible names for the phone are currently floating around online: the RAZR, the Droid HD and the Spyder.

Whatever the truth of the matter, all will be revealed tomorrow at Motorola and Verizon’s joint event in New York City. More as we hear it.
