Nokia Lumia 900 available in the UK on pre-order

You may have seen the Nokia Lumia 900 at CES 2012 in January or a bit closer to home at MWC in February, but you could be holding one in your hands later this month when Phones4u ships the first pre-ordered handsets to its customers.

“Order today for delivery by 27/04,” the page on the Phones4u website states, with an exclusive white version of the Nokia Lumia 900 available for pre-order.

Buyers have the option of purchasing the Nokia Lumia 900 from Phones4u with two different O2 contracts.

Those signing up to a £21.50 monthly contract for two years (with 100 texts, 500 minutes and 250MB data) will pay £199.00 for the handset, while those opting for a £36 monthly two-year contract (300 texts, unlimited minutes and 1GB data) will get the phone free.

Both pre-order offers also include a free Nokia Play 360 Wireless Speaker (while stocks last).

Carphone Warehouse has also set up a registration page for the black Lumia 900, although it quotes the release date as being “Expected: May 2012”.

The Lumia 900 has already launched in the US, with some users experiencing data connection problems. However, Nokia has said those problems are specific to AT&T’s network and won’t be seen in the UK.
