O2 gives customers 50% extra data and free rollover on range of tariffs

O2 is offering more data to new and existing customers during February and March 2016, as well as the chance to rollover unused data free of charge to the following month.

Customers who choose one of O2’s selected Pay & Go, Pay Monthly or Mobile Broadband tariffs between today and the end of March will get 50 percent extra data, free of charge. The offer includes 30-day and 12-month Pay Monthly tariffs and applies to both new customers and existing customers upgrading their contract.

O2 also offers ‘Bolt Ons’ to customers, which adds between 100MB and 2GB to your data bundle if you find yourself running low (damn those addictive cat videos). You would usually lose any unused data from these Bolt Ons if they weren’t used up by the end of the month, but now O2 will roll over this data to your following month’s allowance, free of charge.

This Bolt Ons announcement comes less than a week after iD mobile offered a similar deal, which we hoped would be picked up by the big boys. Looks like our prayers were answered.

Check out O2’s website for more information and a full list of compatible tariffs.
