OnePlus has just launched its latest mobile phone, the OnePlus 3T, which improves on the existing OnePlus 3 in a number of areas. Here’s everything you need to know about the OnePlus 3T, including full specs, how it differs from the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T UK price and release date.

The OnePlus 3 remains one of our most favourite phones of 2016 so far. It’s not completely flawless, but no other Android mobiles launched this year can offer the same brilliant blend of impressive longevity, blazing performance and gorgeous visuals at this price point.

Which is why we’re eagerly awaiting the next OnePlus phone, no matter what form it takes. Personally we’ve been crossing our fingers for a mini OnePlus handset, something which has been rumoured for close to a year now. After all, the 5.5-inch OnePlus flagships are a bit on the big side, and the thought of a compact OnePlus that’s easy to use one-handed gives us serious geek chills.

But what OnePlus has just launched is the OnePlus 3T, an upgraded version of the original OnePlus 3. You get some sexy new camera tech, an updated processor and some other refinements, which is bound to please anyone looking for a premium phone at a reasonable price point.

Here’s everything you need to know about the OnePlus 3T, including when and how to buy one.

OnePlus 3T vs OnePlus 3, what’s changed?

This new OnePlus handset sports Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 821 chipset, also found in the super-expensive Google Pixel and Pixel XL phones, once again backed by 6GB of RAM. That means even smoother performance than before, which is mighty impressive given the more than reasonable asking price.

You also get a battery boost up to 3400mAh, plus updated cameras.

The major question is, should OnePlus 3 owners upgrade to the OnePlus 3T? Personally we still love the OnePlus 3 and its excellent performance should ensure that it’s not out of date any time soon. But if you want the absolute best and money isn’t an issue, there’s at least enough improvements to make the OnePlus 3T worth considering.

OnePlus 3T: UK price and release date

The OnePlus 3T will be available here in the UK from £399, for the 64GB model. Presumably the 128GB model will cost around £449, or thereabouts. You can bag it from November 28, from OnePlus’ website, while O2 will also be stocking the handset here in the UK.

That means the OnePlus 3T is £70 more expensive than the standard OnePlus 3. Not too shabby considering the boost in power, battery size and camera tech.

You can bag yourself a OnePlus 3 from O2 here in the UK, from just £28 per month on contract. You can also grab a OnePlus 3T from O2, from £31 per month.
