Orange Sydney says G’Day on Coming Soon page: 3.2-inch touchscreen on pay-as-you-go phone

We’ve just spotted a phone that goes by the name of Sydney on Orange’s Coming Soon page. Arriving at some point soon on Orange pay-as-you-go, the Sydney will be available in two hues – black and white – and comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen.

Aside from a fairly standard list of specs which we’ve included below, there’s not much else to go on. The image rollover of the back shows that the camera doesn’t come with a flash and that’s the only other thing we could see. Lookswise, the phone is rather similar to Samsung’s Symbian-running GT-S5260 but it’s not – that phone has a 3-inch touchscreen whereas the Sydney’s at 3.2-inches is a tad bigger.

We’re trying to find out a bit more on this one and when it’s going to be out; we’ve spoken to Orange and are waiting to hear back.

With the recent announcements of the Orange Stockholm and the Monte Carlo, we can’t help but wonder where in the world Orange is going to go next with its city-themed phones. Swindon? Milton Keynes? Westward Ho!?
