Puma phone hands-on video: It’s pumped full of Puma

We’ve been very lucky to get our hands on a Puma phone thanks to Jerome Nadel, executive VP user experience and marketing at Sagem Wireless. As you’ll see in the video the Puma phone features a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen, a solar panel on the back and a bespoke Puma-themed user interface that we actually liked quite a lot. Other features include a 3.2-megapixel camera, HSDPA, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, expandable microSD card slot and an FM radio.

While we understand that you might not be overwhelmed by this offering from Puma and Sagem we do think that it does what it does well. Sports phones tend to be rather gimmicky and not offer any substantial features but we think the Puma phone delivers more than just a logo. It’s clear in the video that some serious time and effort has gone into creating Puma’s first phone. We probably won’t rush out to buy it but we’re sure plenty of teenagers will.
