Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro official pictures and specs

Want Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, 10.1 and 8.4 pics and specs? Well you’re in the right place.

We said you wouldn’t have to wait long and, as if like clockwork, Samsung has spilled the beans on its Galaxy Tab Pro range. The new tablets will come in 12.2, 10.1 an 8.4-inch screen sizes, and will henceforth be known as the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. See what they did there?

The new Galaxy Tab Pro range is big in the tablet game.

As we previously reported, all three models will use a 2,560×1,600-pixel resolution with 16:10 aspect ratios. The former benefits from a 247ppi pixel density, while the latter’s pixels are more tightly packed, resulting in a slightly prettier 298ppi density. The smaller 8.4-inch version should be the prettiest to look at of the three, thanks to a huge 359ppi density.

The original iPad Mini with Retina Display, for reference, has a 326ppi density.

Other key specs will differ depending on which version you opt for and which country you live in. 3G versions come with Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa eight-core CPU, while 4G LTE models run a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip. Not all versions will be available in all markets.

The largest of the three will gain power from a 9,500mAh battery pack, while the smaller 10.1- and 8.4-inch models have to make do with 8,220mAh and 4,800mAh power cells, respectively.

All three Galaxy Galaxy Tab Pro models are reasonably well equipped where storage is concerned. The largest model gets 3GB of RAM, while the others get 2GB. All come in a choice of 16GB or 32GB internal storage, expandable via microSD.

Samsung hasn’t issued word on pricing or availability, but we’ll let you know as soon as it spills the beans.
