The new iPad: Also for horses

One detail of iOS 5.1 and the new iPad that went straight over our heads last night was its improved equine interface technology. As well as supporting Siri-esque speech to text dictation and super-high pixel count, the new iPad has also been optimised to support hoof touch and voice commands from horses.

As shown off in this technical demo, the new iPad is the ideal tablet for horses to keep in touch with one another, through FaceTime and Facebook. Coming with only five books and even less movies, there seems to be a dearth of on-demand nag-based content.

Who knew there was such a demand for this until-now criminally under served portion of the tablet market? We spoke to Samsung to see if they were going to reveal an 11.6-inch rival horse tablet tomorrow and they just said neigh.
