Vine is now available for Windows Phone 8

Nokia announced that Vine would be coming to Windows Phone last month, and true to its word, the app is now available to download. Better yet, Vine for Windows Phone has specific features exclusive to the platform.

Just like the iOS and Android apps, users need only tap and hold to record short 6 second videos. The grid and ghost tools are available too, and filmmakers can flip the camera to insert themselves into the action if they so choose.

The Windows Phone version, however, has some cool tricks of its own. Users can pin their favourite Vine accounts to their phone’s homescreen for easier accessibility – pretty handy if you’re a Vine addict.

The app is available on the Windows Store right now for any handset running Windows Phone 8.
