Plusnet is offering a basic fibre broadband connection for £8/month plus line rental for six months in a half price sale across its range for new sign-ups.
Copper-based ADSL connections are half-price for a year, while hybrid fibre/copper is half price for six months, with both offers open until July 23.
Customers will have to take home phone and line rental with Plusnet, with an 18-month contract.

- Essentials Broadband £2.99/month for 12 months (normally £5.99/month), with 10GB monthly usage.
- Unlimited Broadband £4.99 for 12 months (normally £9.99/month), with no monthly usage limit.
For hybrid copper/fibre FTTC (fibre to the cabinet), the deals are:
- Up-to-38Mbps Essentials Fibre £7.99/month for 6 months (normally £15.99/month), with 40GB monthly usage.
- Up-to-76Mbps Unlimited Fibre £9.99/month for 6 months (normally £19.99/month), with no monthly usage limit.
The offers are only open to both new customers, with a free wireless router thrown in, and 24/7 UK-based customer service.
Essentials customers get Plusnet McAfee Protect security software free for three months (£2/month to continue). Unlimited customers get it free as long as they’re with Plusnet.
Line rental costs £14.50/month or £10.99/month if you pay 12 months in advance at £131.88. New phone lines cost £49.99.
