TfL has announced that WiFi is now available in over 50 London Overground stations, giving you access to 60 minutes of free WiFi a day.
The London Overground WiFi network, run by Sky-owned wireless provider The Cloud, can be accessed at the majority of stations including busy junctions such as Dalston Junction, New Cross Gate and Shepherd’s Bush.
Caledonian Road & Barnsbury, Crystal Palace, Surrey Quays, Shadwell, Shoreditch High Street and Haggerston have yet to see WiFi installed but are all earmakred for future upgrades, so we should see some progress soon – we’ll update once we know more.

Accessing The Cloud at the London Overground stations requires you to quickly register with The Cloud (unless you’ve done so already) and then you simply connect at any of the London Overground stations where WiFi is present.
You get 60 minutes of free access every 24 hours, after which you’ll need to shell out for a monthly pass. If you want constant connection to the Cloud wherever you go, then it’s £6.95/month for a single device (unlimited access) or £9.95/month if you’ve got multiple devices.
Not content with supplying commuters with a wireless lifeline, The Cloud has also beamed WiFi across London’s Square Mile as well as Lord’s Cricket Ground, to the delight of suited yuppies and tweed-clad Etonians.
