HTC to reveal affordable plastic version of its One M8 flagship phone, called the HTC M8 Ace, rocking the same premium specs?
The HTC One M8 is bloody lovely, but it’s also bloody expensive, which is why we’re intrigued by news that a more affordable plastic version might be hitting UK stores soon. Dubbed the HTC M8 Ace, the new phone will rock a unibody plastic design, replacing the One M8’s aluminium shell, but retain most of the awesome specs including a 5-inch 1080p screen.

The HTC M8 Ace will also boast plenty of power, with a quad-core 2.5GHz SnapDragon 801 processor stuffed inside. And while other spec details haven’t been leaked just yet, we’d expect to see the Ultrapixel camera make a return.
If the new plastic design really does shave a few pounds off, but the M8 Ace can still offer the same glorious One M8 experience, this’ll be a great option for anyone looking to save up for a flagship device. Would you be tempted, or is it metal or nothing? Let us know in the comments below.
