This is HTC’s big phone. No, really, it’s big and it’s beautiful. Boasting a 4.3-inch screen and a built-in stand, the HD7 is a beast. Overall it feels great but we we did think the battery cover was a tiny bit creaky – could have been the demo model, of course.
Windows Phone 7 runs really well on the HD7 and the large screen lends itself perfectly to browsing the web of watching a film. We’re torn between this and the Mozart as our fave Windows 7 Phone handset – Decisions! Decisions!
Specs-wise the HD7 boasts 8GB (or 16GB) of onboard memory, a 1Ghz processor, 512MB ROM, 576MB RAM, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Dolby surround sound, a 5-megapixel camera and 720p HD video recording. You’ll be able to pick up a HD7 on O2 with a monthly contract.
