Amidst the devastation in Haiti, little pockets of hope and happiness are starting to shine through – like the story of Dan Woolley, an American filmmaker who was trapped under a pile of rubble when the earthquake hit in Port-Au-Prince. Using a first-aid app on his iPhone, he treated a compound fracture of his leg and a cut on his head – and even set the alarm on his iPhone to go off every 20 minutes as the app warned against falling asleep after head injuries. 65 hours later he was rescued from the rubble and is set to be reunited with his family in Colorado Springs this week.
Kind of puts that love for iPint into perspective, doesn’t it?
