We thought we’d have to wait until at least next week to see Jaguar’s C-X17, but the gods of the Internet have bestowed us with an early look at what appears to be that very vehicle. Maybe.
This might be the Jaguar C-X17 concept. But then again it might not be. There’s every chance it’ll turn out to be the handiwork of some kid with l33t 3D modelling skills and nothing better to do than waste everyone’s time. It’s worth a look though, so we thought we’d show it to you.
Assuming it is real, we can safely say the Jaguar C-X17 is a crossover whose height places it somewhere between a Jaguar XF (or similar) and its Range Rover big brother. The lights are typical Jag – squinty and aggressive, while the front air intake and wing mirrors give it a most cat-like appearance.
We’re not 100 per cent convinced by the design (real or not) but we’re happy to give it the benefit of the doubt until the Frankfurt Motor Show kicks off proper and the real Jaguar C-X17 makes itself known. Just a few short days to go, car fans.
