A high definition smart TV for under £240? It’s not officially Freeview HD but it is officially cheap.
The Kogan Agora is a 32in LED TV with 720p HD Ready resolution, and a smart TV engine using Android 4.0 – Ice Cream Sandwich.
Kogan’s simulated screen shots suggest a bespoke launcher designed for the big screen, although with Android 4.0, users will be free to choose how they want it to look.

The TV isn’t an officially-badged Freeview HD product, but it does have a DVB-T2 tuner and seven-day programme guide, and can record/timeshift to externally-powered USB storage devices up to 1TB.
It can also play back media files in AVI, MP4 (up to 720p), DIVX4, DIVX5, XVID, MP2, WMA, JPEG, or BMP format, and has 802.11 b/g/n WiFi as well as Ethernet network connections.
The panel is LED edge-LCD with a maximum resolution of 1366×768 pixels. Inputs include 3xUSB ports, 2xHDMI, a Scart socket, composite video, VGA and 3.5mm audio in.
The smart TV platform is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A9 processor with Mali400 GPU and 1GB DDR3 RAM.
