Heads up, Wakefield. 4G's comin' atcha.

EE 4G mobile broadband is now available in 215 large towns and cities across the UK, as well as 2,588 small towns and villages. That, according to EE, equates to 72 per cent UK coverage.

“EE is bringing 4G to more regions across the UK than ever before and with summer just around the corner, we wanted to make the ‘best of British. It’s great for everyone to be able to stay connected all the time, even in more remote spots like on the beach,”, EE chief marketing officer Pippa Dunn said in a statement.

EE marked the announcement of the 4G expansion by offering ‘superfast’ donkey rides in West Kirby.

The network recently announced it would be creating 300 new jobs in the city of Derby as part of a plan to deliver ‘industry-leading call centre support’.
