Game of Thrones season 6 is heading our way April 25; before then Sky’s giving folks the chance to revisit Westeros and beyond before the latest helping of incest, immolation and immurement.
A trailer for the new season appears to suggest that there’s some shocking upsets in store – either that or it’s just showmakers HBO cruelly toying with fans’ emotions.
If you’ve not seen any of Game of Thrones, now’s the perfect time to get involved; from March 14 onwards, you’ll be able to blaze a trail through all 50 previously aired episodes from Sky On Demand – something that’s since been made easier thanks to the latest Sky+ update – and Now TV.
Other new additions to Sky’s on demand platforms this month include the oddly-spelled Terminator Genisys, which sees Game of Thrones regular Emilia Clarke star alongside the Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger himself and Jason Clarke in the latest instalment in the long-running sci-fi series.
Also arriving to Sky in April is the second season of The Tunnel, a remake of the celebrated Danish-Swedish crime noir The Bridge, which just so happens to feature another ‘Thrones familiar Stephen Dillane, paired with Clémence Poésy of Harry Potter fame.
Sky+ subscriptions start at £20.50/month while Sky Q subscriptions begin at £42/month. Now TV Entertainment Passes – which give you access to live streams and catch-up content from channels like Sky Atlantic and Sky 1 – cost £6.99/month.
Sky Movies TV channels can be added to Sky+ and Sky Q subscriptions for an extra £17/month while a Sky Movies Pass costs £9.99/month with Now TV.
