If you’re reading this, it’s Christmas Day and hopefully you’ll be spending with your partner, family and/or friends, if you’re lucky.
If that’s the case then you should stop reading immediately and spend the day with them. Turn your phone off or, at the very least, turn your data connection off, so any emergency calls can get through and ignore your phone.
Even if you’re unwrapping or giving a gift that requires an Internet connection to work, by all means, get that up and running, but don’t devote the entire day to it. Pick any one of the other 364 days instead.
If for whatever reason you can’t be with loved ones this year, you should still unplug from the Matrix and head outside, in a metaphorical, if not actual sense.
Power down your tablet, laptop, desktop PC or whatever you’re using to read this on. Detach from the Internet for 24 hours. It’ll still be here when you get back, I promise.
