Nest slashes annual Aware subscriptions by 10 per cent

Nest is offering customers who sign up for a year’s worth of Nest Aware video backups 10 per cent off of their subscription. 

While you can use the basic features of the NestCam IP camera without a subscription, signing up for NestAware unlocks some of the service’s more advanced settings like alert zones and a timelapse feature, as well as the ability to back up footage to the cloud.

The annual 10 and 30 day subscriptions cost £80/year and £240/year respectively. This limited-time deal, running from now until March 1, sees customers saving £8 and £24. 

Existing NestAware subscribers won’t be able to benefit from the discount, unless they cancel their current subscription and reapply; doing so however will see you lose any video histories, so if you really want to save some cash, you should probably back up everything you’ve got on your desktop first.
