Netflix’s original prison drama series Orange Is The New Black gets released today.
All thirteen one-hour episodes of the hotly-tipped series are available to stream on Netflix right now. The show has already been given the thumbs up for a second series which speaks volumes about Netflix’s confidence in its success.
Orange Is The New Black stars Taylor Schilling of The Lucky One fame, Laura Prepon (That 70’s Show) and Jason Biggs (American Pie). Weeds writer Jenji Kohan created the show which is based on the best-selling memoirs of Piper Kerman.

The series’ diverse ensemble also includes Kate Mulgrew, Natasha Lyonne, Pablo Schreiber, Danielle Brooks, Laverne Cox and Taryn Manning.

American-Russian folksy piano-playing chanteuse Regina Spektor writes the theme tune and sings the theme tune for Orange Is The New Black, which joins the likes of Hemlock Grove, Arrested Development and House of Cards in the Netflix Originals pantheon.
