Now TV announces Kids Pass: Adventure Time for £2.99

Hot on the heels of the recently-launched Sky Kids app comes the Now TV Kids Pass, a monthly subscription service offering unlimited streams of Adventure Time, The Powerpuff Girls and SpongeBob SquarePants

Launching later this year, a Now TV Kids Pass will set you back £2.99/month, which gives you access to live streams and catch-up content from six channels – Boomerang, Cartoon Network, Cartoonito Nickelodeon, Nick Jr and Nicktoons – plus on-demand content from the BBC’s CBBC and CBeebies channels and Channel 5’s Milkshake!

As with the regular Now TV passes, you can stream Kids Pass content on your desktop, on your phone or tablet on on your smart TV, either through a Now TV Box or an Apple TV or Roku mini streamer.

Compare children’s on-demand services: BBC iPlayer Kids, Hopster and Sky KidsWhile kids TV shows and movies can be streamed with a Now TV Entertainment Pass (£6.99/month) and a Movies Pass (£9.99/month), the new Kids Pass comes with a family friendly space-themed user interface.

Parents can lock access to certain shows with a PIN and turn on a screen lock so little hands don’t accidentally pause, stop and start watching another show by mistake.

Now TV’s director Gidon Katz said: “We want to make sure that everyone in the family gets the best entertainment experience possible and that includes our younger viewers. We’ve created a vibrant, engaging world just for kids, so finding an episode of Dora the Explorer will be almost as fun as watching it.”

Currently you can sign up for a Now TV Kids Pass and get the first 14 days for free. As with all other Passes, there’s no long term obligation, meaning parents can sign up for a Now TV Kids Pass over the holidays and cancel whenever it suits.

A Now TV Kids Pass will be available from June 21 onwards.
