Plusnet is offering new customers who sign up for unlimited broadband £75 cashback.
The entry-level ADSL and home phone bundle, providing download speeds of up to 17Mbps, is already currently available at the reduced price of £2.49/month.
The regular £9.99/month cost for the service is being reduced for customers who sign up by October 28 and the deal is being made even sweeter with the offer of cashback.
You’ll need to take out one of Plusnet’s home phone packages which start at £15.95/month for line rental and weekend calls to UK landlines (01, 02, 03, 0845 and 0870 numbers) for 12 months in order to get this discount and the cashback.
The total monthly costs works out at £18.44/month. There’s a £5.99 delivery charge for the wireless router (a single-band Technicolor 582n) if you want to use it. The regular £25 connection fee is waived.
Customers after a bit more bandwidth for their buck can opt for Plusnet’s Unlimited Fibre broadband service instead.
This FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet)-based product delivers top download speeds of 38Mbps. Normally priced at £14.99/month (not including line rental), Plusnet has cut the price of the first six months of Unlimited Fibre down to £3.99/month.
With the basic line rental and phone calls package (£15.99/month) added, this will cost you £19.94/month for the first six months and £30.94/month thereafter.
Customers living in Plusnet’s off-network areas can still qualify for discounts on these two offers but naturally they’ll have to pay more.
Unlimited Broadband will cost £9.99/month for a year and then £17.49/month afterwards. Similarly, Unlimited Fibre will cost £11.49/month for the first six months and £22.49/month thereafter. The cost of line rental remains at £15.95/month for off-network customers.
Plusnet reduced the price of its unlimited broadband and phone packages to £2.49/month and fibre tariffs to £7.50/month back in July to compete with rival ISP TalkTalk, who reduced the price of its broadband to £1.75/month and Sky’s offer of two years free broadband.
