Christmas is a merry time for football fans and a massive selection of Premier League matches are being broadcast in 2016, on services such as Sky, BT Sport and Now TV as well as online. Here’s the full Christmas Premier League fixtures scheduled for live broadcast in 2016, plus how to watch or stream them live on your TV.
Ding dong merrily on the pitch. Santa has dropped his sack load under your tree, you’ve eaten your bodyweight in oversized fowl and have woken in your favourite chair still wearing that cracker party hat. Christmas might be over, but Boxing Day is about to begin and that means football. So. Much. Football.
The Premier League is delivering a great selection of matches over Christmas 2016. In fact, from Boxing Day to January 4, 14 Premier League football games will be broadcast live, spread across the ten days to keep you glued to your TV.
Here’s the full live Premier League fixtures for Christmas 2016, as well as what channel they’re being broadcast on – and a cheap solution for enjoying them without a Sky subscription.
How to watch Premier League football over Christmas 2016 without signing any contracts: Now TV Sports Pass
Of all the games being shown this Christmas period, a large chunk will be aired exclusively on Sky Sports. If you have Sky and a Sky Sports subscription then all you need do is reach for the controller and enjoy. For those without, however, there is still a simple and surprisingy affordable way to enjoy the seasonal footy.
Now TV is an internet connected box that connects to your TV and lets you stream Sky Sports directly. This is great as a way of catching the games you want to, without committing to a contract.
Now TV uses what it calls “Passes” to let you effectively subscribe to the sports channels for a short period of time. If you want to watch a specific game then you can buy a day pass, for a few there’s a week, or if you want to plonk yourself in front of the TV all Christmas there’s a full month pass.

The Now TV pass will get you seven Sky Sports channels to enjoy. A day pass is £6.99, the week is £10.99 and the entire month will set you back £33.99. While the day and week run out and end, the month will roll on so you can continue subscribing each month if you want, or simply cancel it when you want.
