Sky Go coming to Samsung Galaxy S4, available on HTC One and Sony Xperia Z now

Sky has confirmed that Sky Go will be coming to the Samsung Galaxy S4 once it’s in the market. 

The mobile catch up app is available on growing line-up of high end Android devices, the hotly anticipated S4 being the latest one to be confirmed for support.

As well as being ready for the Galaxy S4, Sky Go is now supported on the stellar HTC One, a phone with some neat smart TV credentials of its own, as well as the Sony Xperia Z and Motorola RAZR HD

The complete roll call of Android phones and tablets that can access Sky Go is now as follows:

HTC: HTC Desire, HTC Desire S, HTC Desire HD, HTC Incredible S, HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation XE, HTC Desire X, HTC One, HTC One X, HTC One XL, HTC One S and HTC One V.

Samsung: Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Galaxy Note, Galaxy S3 LTE, Galaxy S3 Mini, Galaxy Ace 2, and Galaxy Note 2.

Google: Nexus 4 and Nexus 7

Sony: Sony Xperia S, Sony Xperia T

Motorola: Motorola RAZR HD

LG: LG 4X HD

Sky Go on your Android phone is essentially a mobile mirror of your Sky TV package at home. Through Sky Go you can watch up to 49 live channels including Sky Sports and Sky Movies, provided they’re part of your subscription. The Sky Go app itself is a free download, available from Google Play now. 

Those who want to take advantage of the new Sky Go Extra service, which costs £5/month, will also be able to download programmes to their phone for offline viewing.
